SOUTH AFRIKA – THE SOUND OF GOD
I started writing this article on Saturday 19th of September 2020, which without my conscious thinking or planning happened to be the second day of Rosh Hashanah. Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish New Year.
Definitely, for me, it is not a coincidence that my writing this article started on this day, since it was not what I had planned earlier, but it also beats my own imagination that every Rosh Hashanah begins with the blowing of the Shofar or ram’s horn which also happens to be the very picture that I had chosen and also used for the cover page of this issue.
For even though I had known from before our last issue that this 9th issue was going to be about South Afrika, the sound of the voice of God, I had not had a pre-thought as to how it all aligns with the 2020 Rosh Hashanah. Clearly, God is amazing in guiding our lives and decisions and I am grateful.
But what has the sound of South Afrika got to do with the Jewish Rosh Hashanah and how does it connect to the sound of God? Let’s follow the leading of the Spirit of God to know.
Year 5781 or 2021
According to Rabbi Curt Landry, the Jewish year 5781 or 2021 in our Gregorian calendar is the year of speaking less in order to listen more to God’s voice. For me, and from various indications that I have been having in my Spirit arround the time I was writing this article, I agree that God is bringing His people to the place of speaking less and listening more in order to be accurate in expressing His mind on the earth with their lives and deeds rather than just by words. And to back this up, let me use a scenario in Revelation 5:2-4 and Revelation 10:10-11 to create a prophetic indication of what the new year is about.
Revelation 5:2-4 says ” Then I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose its seals?” And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll, or to look at it. So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it.
Revelation 10:10-11 says “Then I took the little book out of the angel’s hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter. And he said to me, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings.”
Here are my thoughts on these scriptures.
First, let me say that the scroll in the hand of God in Revelation 5 is the reality of God’s testimony written in the minds of the believers and kept in their hearts. Meaning that in a sense, we are the scroll in the hand of God, sealed with seven seals, bearing the eternal plans and message of God for a dying world. Remember that Ephesians 1:13-14 speaks of the saints sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise as a guarantee until Christ repossesses the purchased possession.
But something happened in Revelation 5 that is very interesting. Whenever the scroll was unsealed by the Lamb, corresponding events also took place on the earth. But did you notice that even though the scroll was unsealed and looked into, it was not read. Meaning that the unsealing or the revealing of the testimony or the word of God in and through us will be the way God will deal with the earth in the coming days. That is, those who have aligned with the mind of God for the next phase on earth will not be talkers as it were, but those who through their lifestyles of faith with God, will in their silence carry so much authority that even in their silence, God will be doing mighty things on the earth through them.
This is directly opposite of what John was told in chapter 10 when he was given the little book to eat and then prophecy again about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings.
South Afrika
The sound of the trumpet, or the blast of the shofar, is the voice of God. Rosh Hashanah is when God the Father reveals Himself through the Spirit; giving life, knowledge, wisdom, strength, and power for the year ahead.
The blast of the shofar represents God’s voice, announcing His presence. Rosh Hashanah is the appointed time of revelation and awakening.
You can begin to see why shofars are blown during this holy day. The trumpet sounding clears the atmosphere for the voice of the Father to reach you.
I have said this before, that there is a sound coming forth out of Afrika and to which it is important that Afrikans themselves pay close heed.
According an old prophecy, Afrika is shaped like a gun – a revolver to be precise – with Nigeria being the trigger, Kenya the holding place of the bullet (land of manifestation) and South Afrika being the nozzle from whence the sound is released. But not too long ago, the Lord showed me that there is a more accurate and more ancient image that Afrika is meant to reveal. He revealed to me that Afrika is a shofar in the hand of God and that the sound which the shofar will release is the sound of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah (Not necessarily talking about the Judah of old Israel, but Judah as the generation of those who seek God).
South Afrika is the mouth of that shofar, the west and east of Afrika are both the holding places of the sound and the northern part of Afrika is the place from which the roaring sound of that shofar will release the sound of the Lion of Judah, for the healing, restoration and re-birthing of the earth.
A prophetic indication
Master KG, a South Afrikan musician did a song called Jerusalema the lyrics of which are absolutely amazing and prophetic. Here is a small portion of the lyrics of the song below.
Jerusalema ikhaya lami
(Jerusalem is my home)
Ngilondoloze(Guard me)
Uhambe nami(Walk with me)
Zungangishiyi lana
(Do not leave me here)
Jerusalema ikhaya lami(Jerusalem is my home)
Ngilondoloze(Guard me)
Uhambe nami(Walk with me)
Zungangishiyi lana
(Do not leave me here)
Ndawo yami ayikho lana
(My place is not here)
Mbuso wami awukho lana
(My kingdom is not here)
Ngilondoloze(Guard me)
Zuhambe nami(Walk with me)
Ndawo yami ayikho lana(My place is not here)
Mbuso wami awukho lana
(My kingdom is not here)
Ngilondoloze(Guard me)
Zuhambe nami(Walk with me)
Ngilondoloze(Guard me)
Ngilondoloze(Guard me)
Ngilondoloze(Guard me)
Zungangishiyi lana(Do not leave me here)
Ngilondoloze(Guard me)
Ngilondoloze(Guard me)
Ngilondoloze(Guard me)
Zungangishiyi lana(Do not leave me here)…
This song has gone global and has even had millions of views on YouTube.
Master KG, the writer and owner of the song, may or may not know the prophetic reality of that song, but the words of that song are the true sound of South Afrika and not the many negative things coming out of that nation. South Afrika is not about the useless and demonic narrative of rape, drug abuse, killings, maiming, violence, domestic abuse that has been the story for quite a while. South Afrika is about the sound of the voice of God, the Father, responding to the heart cry of His children. It is the voice of the New Jerusalem who is Sarah the mother of us all who comes from above. South Afrika is the sound of rebirth of the true image and likeness of God, found in man, which was lost in the garden and for which the voice of God called out in the cool of the day. South Afrika is the voice that speaks of freedom and liberty for the Afrikan people, and her true voice must be restored.
The coming prodigals
As I wrote and continued meditating on the words of this article, these words from the Lord came to me concerning those that God wants to raise in South Afrika who will be the models of the new age of kingdom power that God is releasing on the earth.
The word says “A spiritual awakening will break out in South Afrika and the prodigals of the Lord, the rejected ones that have been thrown out of the church, the male and female servants of the Lord who many do not attribute sonship to, will suddenly hear the sound of God, their Father, calling to them in the garden of their hearts. They will hear him, they will rise from their hidden places and they will respond in haste to say “here we are, use us”, “here I am use me.” They will not be known by their religious or denominational affiliation for they will not have any of such. But they will be known by their heart, life and the words of their testimony in God. For when God said I will pour my Spirit upon My male servants and maidservants, these are those in whom he has found such heart of servant hood. (Joel 2:29)
They will not be ashamed of how they look to others, for their grace is in their servant hood and the suffering that comes with it. They are those who will see clearly and also prepare readily for the coming King. For the day of the Lord is near.”
I am clearly aware there are those who think the Afrikan narrative must not in any way be connected to God, Who, they claim, is the white man’s creation and a tool to fool the black man. And there are those who also think that Afrika’s spirituality is about connection to nature or what they also called Animism and not a connection to a Divine Being. In any case and on what ever part of the divide you may be, God or the Divine Being Who put all these together does not need any form of defense as to His own existence.
It is clearly the time for Afrika, and we as Afrikans must use the time wisely and progressively.
God bless South Afrika and God bless Afrika.

Well done my brother keep it up, God bless you.
