Growth is a departure from a former state and a transition to a new state. It represents change while remaining true to identity, and grounded in purpose. It is a core part of the fulfillment of destiny. Most importantly, it involves choice. Decisions must be made for and against certain things… sometimes even things one likes or enjoys – or that have been a positive part of one’s life – will need to be left behind to grow into what’s new. Discomfort is a part of such growth – and so is satisfaction in knowing one has made the right choices and begun to realize their fruit. Growth is necessary.
