To say life is dynamic would be an understatement and with many reasons for that matter. With this magazine, there are days when the only thing that made sense was to stop the publication and just let the website run its hosting course and then fade away. But I have also come to realize that each time we are in that space to make such a decision, something happens that kind of gives some level of encouragement to continue. Either someone reaches out with a simple word of encouragement or they send something to help with the magazine’s upkeep or something else.
It has happened several times and several times we have had to reconsider our thoughts about shutting the publication down.
Very recently we got an email from the founder of FeedSpot, leading curator of Bloggers and Podcasts, announcing our position in the Top 15 Africa Magazine list. Part of the mail reads:

Samuel Phillips is a writer, graphic designer, photographer, songwriter, singer and a lover of God. As an Afrikan content creator, he is passionate about creating a better image and positive narrative about Afrika and Afrikans. He is a true Afrikan who believes that the true potential of Afrika and Afrikans can manifest through God and accurate collaborations between Afrikans. Afrika is the land of kings, emperors, original wisdom, ancient civilizations, great men and women and not some road-side-aid-begging poor third world continent that the world finds joy in undermining.
