The Lessons From Covid-19 For Afrika
Just like in the Bible, the role of the priest in Afrikan spiritual-
ity was more crucial than even that of a king or a chief simply
because the priest acted as a bridge to enable entire communi-
ties or kingdoms navigate this earthly realm, while giving due
credence to what is unseen, thereby establishing and maintain-
ing balance. Afrika’s ignorance of the purposes of God is detri-
mental not only to her future but to that of the entire world. Her
determination to pursue the earthly is killing her connection to
the Divine and destroying her ability to steer global realities in
their true direction, to bring balance and to restore Divine order.
Afrika’s role and destiny is to provide life and not just minerals
and clean food, water and air or herbal remedies, but the true
remedy to a dead soul, which is an intimate reconnection with
its Creator. That’s why God has dissuaded Afrika’s perfor-
mance on ‘the global stage’ because the role of the Priest (the
true bridge between God – Who is Spirit and the earth), which
is Afrika’s role, is not found in the mingling at the tables of car-
nal pursuits. Afrika must take her place and play her role now.
3. Tear down and rebuild
Governments, businesses and churches are not working the
way that we are told they are supposed to be working and
this is a global reality. It is time to reevaluate how Afrika
was truly intended to function. We must consult God and
under His guidance, make reference to relevant indigenous
knowledge systems to carefully restructure our approach to
living. If for the past 60 years (6 DECADES) Afrika has ap-
plied knowledge and wisdom from the West and the East
and still remains in dire straits politically and economical-
ly – and the church, despite knowing the counsel of God,
remains complicit in their evil-doing, because they value
