GAHO is a community research House founded in 2015 to address concerns such as ‘knowledge
production and use’ affecting communities within the East Africa region. GAHO is dedicated to drawing
on the cultural and civilization heritage of East African communities and working with them in
revitalizing, reclaiming and applying their indigenous knowledge and wisdom systems for a meaningful
development of the region.
At GAHO, we are ceaselessly engaged in the human endeavor of uplifting our communities from cen-
turies of degradation and domination.
