Introducing A People Called Afrika Movement
A People Called Afrika is not just the title of a book. It is a clari-
on call. It is an announcement and a declaration. It is a rebuttal
against the lies that Afrika was told about herself and that the
world was told about Afrika. It is a revelation of what is meant
to be and therefore of what is to come for Afrika. It is an invi-
tation to be different, to change your mindset about yourself
and about the continent and about Who God Is, for without
these three changes, you will remain stuck in this quagmire for
another 60 years and another and another until it is too late.
A People Called Afrika is a reminder about who we truly are
and is a seed planted to start a movement in the hearts of
Afrikans everywhere. This movement will shift those who
are A People Called Afrika to start to do the things they
need to do now in order for the real Afrika to materialize.
Much of the colonial administration is still in place and at work
in Afrikan governments and countries, making the people who
run them as rigid and hardened as the systems they try to push,
but our people need to remember to be innovative, creative,
sensitive, tender and compassionate towards one another.
They need to remember that a person is not a number in a
register but is a mother, a father, a son, a daughter, a brother
and a sister. They need to remember that a King, a President
or a Prime Minister was born of a father and mother a certain
number of years ago and as such is part of the whole and is
answerable to the whole. They need to remember that the
laws of the land are there in service to the people and not
as oppressors to them. They need to remember that they, as
people, matter and have value beyond simply paying taxes or
