“If the treaty is signed, the United Nations can regulate fishing, oil production, and even United States
Navy exercises. All of our activities can be monitored by the United Nations!... Steve Groves, of
the Heritage Foundation, an expert on LOST, writes: “In addition to needlessly exposing itself to
baseless environmental lawsuits, the United States would be required to transfer billions of dollars in
oil and gas royalties…to the International Seabed Authority for redistribution to the developing
world.”….An outspoken critic of the LOST Treaty is Jim DeMint (R-SC), who said: “This treaty would
subordinate American sovereignty to the United Nations, impose an international tax on U.S. energy
production that would raise costs for American families, and act as a backdoor Kyoto Protocol that
could allow foreign nations to regulate U.S. energy emissions.””

The Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST) is supported by the Obama administration. “It would give the UN
control over offshore drilling, requiring the U.S. to pay half of its royalties to unelected UN
bureaucrats who could spend it any way they want. Moreover, it would require the U.S. to make our
offshore drilling technology available to any nation that wanted it and to do so for free despite the
             millions spent to develop it.”

THE U.N. IGNORES COMMUNIST ATROCITIES BUT TARGETS NON-COMMUNIST NATIONS
                                                      AND LEADERS.

When Soviet tanks rolled into Hungary in the 1950s, when the Chinese Communists were murdering
Tibetans in the 1960s, when the Soviets were butchering civilians in Afghanistan in the 1970s and
1980s, when Chechnya was brutalized by the Russians in the 1990s, the U.N. did nothing! But the
U.N. declared tiny Rhodesia "a threat to international peace" in the 1960s, enabling pro-communist
terrorist Robert Mugabe to seize power. And it was a UN-led campaign that brought self-described
Communist and convicted terrorist Nelson Mandela to power in South Africa in the 1990s.”

AN EX-UNICEF OFFICIAL CONFIRMED THAT "PAMPERED AND COSSETED STAFFS" OF
VARIOUS AID AGENCIES "ABSORB 80% OF ALL U.N. EXPENDITURES."”

               U.S. TAXPAYERS PAY 25% OF THE U.N. BUDGET PLUS 31% OF THE U.N. SPECIAL-AGENCY
                                                         BUDGETS

Additional billions of our dollars go to the IMF, World Bank, and other U.N. related lending agencies
where they have been used for incredibly wasteful and subversive U.N. projects. (Not surprising since
these agencies were designed by Soviet agent Harry Dexter White and Fabian Socialist John Maynard
Keynes.) Socialist International spokesman Hilary Marquand aptly described the IMF as "in essence a
Socialist conception." World Bank "aid" funds went to brutal Marxist dictator Mengistu while he was
causing large-scale starvation and death in Ethiopia; to Tanzanian dictator Julius Nyerere as he drove
peasants off their land and burned their huts; and to the Vietnamese Communists, sending thousands
of boat people into the sea. Even Newsweek magazine concluded that the UN's foreign aid programs
tend "to prop up incompetent governments or subsidize economies so they can never stand on their
             own." http://blueeyedtex.com/politics/UN2.htm

A GLOBAL TAX BY THE UNITED NATIONS ON GLOBAL WARMING

In Doha, Qatar, late Saturday [December 9, 2012], delegates attending the United Nations Framework
Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) took concrete steps toward a new global treaty to address
global warming that will transform the economic structure of the world with a new global tax. To be
completed by 2015, the UN expects every nation to implement it by 2020, even though the globe has
not warmed for the past 16 years.
