funding the fights in Africa? Who is supplying
the guns and ammunitions that the so-called
rebels use for the destabilization of various
regions in Africa? Where are the gold, the
uranium, the lithium, the diamonds, the cobalt
that are mined in these crisis-ridden regions
going? Obviously they are not stored in Africa.
But Africans are the mindless war-mongers who
only know how to fight themselves. But the same
is the story of corrupt African leaders who steal
from their people and then keep them in offshore
accounts in Switzerland. Africa is seen as the
corrupt but the bank that stores the stolen money
is holy. I thought the law says that anyone who
buys stolen goods is also a thief?
You wonder why the war in DRC never seems to
end even as you watch the nations of the world
who love to talk about human right abuse are
quiet about the genocide going on in the DRC
over mineral resources. Yes, DRC seats on a vast
mineral wealth that the world wants and would
do anything to keep DRC in crisis so they can
access it.
The narrative of Africa must shift from what it
has always been but it’s up to Africans to know
what’s happening and do something about it.
