at withstanding winds and would have made sense to then have
the twelve tribes camped around. This would, in our view, com-
municate clearly the idea of God who had come to tabernacle
with His people and He being at the center of their existence.
Everything God has done, He has done with a clear purpose.
The constant circular shape of the sun with its radiating rays of
light, highlighting His Son’s steadfastness and availability to all,
the changing shape of the moon, highlighting shifts in seasons
for the earth and for the womb, linking us back to creation in
Genesis 1 and connecting us to the end of all things in Revela-
tion 22, which is a new beginning of all things, with the Maker.
There is something that the ancient Afrikans tapped into in
observing and emulating that which God had created in their
daily living, a circular hut which can be used to see in every
direction and make the most of every change in direction of
wind and the fullness of light, a circular compound where all
family members can see one another and interact with one
another and protect one another and so on. There’s simplic-
ity, unity, cohesion and completion hidden in plain sight in
the things that were created that we must return to and reflect
upon, if we are to be saved. We must reconnect to and live
out our God-given spirituality in order to unlock these keys.
Afrika’s justice system (Ma’at)
The meaning of Ma’at
To clearly understand this genius Afrikan principle of Ma’at
and its relevance from the inception of our world, we need
to first understand the concept of Chaos from the perspec-
tive of ancient Afrikans. There are lots of creation stories that
