A PEOPLE CALLED AFRIKA
world was caught as flat-footed as Afrika in all this, mean-
ing that no nation could come and make the usual decla-
rations about how ‘hopeless, desperate and useless’ Afri-
ka ‘is’ and how much better they are. Equally wonderfully,
though the world looked to see the ‘horrors’ that would
afflict Afrika in this situation, God spared us. Why? Be-

the practices that many are advocating for, that are at the core
of the reawakening that many are sensing and speaking about.
Restoration is not to buildings or gold in the land, no, resto-
ration is to the original intent of the Maker. At the heart of Af-
rika remains what the world needs in order to find its footing
in God once again and this is not just her physical raw materi-
