A People Called Afrika
f there was ever a time in His-sto-
ry to relook the Afrikan narrative,
and if there was a time to take a
Ilook back at where we are coming
from, review where we are and make
accurate decisions about where we are
going, it is now. Prior to penning this
book, it was clear that this Afrika we have
right now does not carry the grandiosity
of stature of her original self and that it
so clearly needed afresh examination.
As has been shared several times in Msin-
gi Afrika Magazine, we were Afrikans be-
fore we were ever forced to become citi-
zens of any Afrikan country. This is not
just a statement of fact, but a deeper real-
ity that shows clearly where the rain start-
ed beating Afrikans. Fake geographic
boundaries were the administrative pris-
on bars implemented following on from
the worst and most evil slave trade and
a period of oppression under imperialis-
tic colonialism that was one of the most
heinous crimes against humanity ever
to be recorded and then disregarded.
Geographically speaking, Afrika is a
huge continent of about 30.37 million
square kilometers, with about 1.2 bil-
lion multi-lingual, multi-cultural people
diversely situated across the continent
