63rd Legislature SJ0009.01
Senate Joint Resolution No. 9
Introduced By J. Taylor
A joint resolution of the senate and the house of representatives of the state of Montana providing that the state
of Montana or any of its political subdivisions are urged not to adopt or implement policy recommendations
originating from the united nations that infringe upon or restrict private property rights without due process of

Whereas, these plans and policies are being covertly pushed into local communities throughout the
United States through various councils, initiatives, and projects; and
Whereas, private property ownership and due process of law are fundamental rights protected by the
United States and Montana constitutions; and
Whereas, United Nations policies and the activities that support and promote these policies threaten
Private property rights and due process of law guarantees.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the senate and the house of representatives of the
State of Montana:
That the state of Montana or any of its political subdivisions are urged not to adopt or implement policy.
Recommendations originating from the United Nations that infringe upon or restrict private property rights
without due process of law.
Be it further resolved, that a copy of this resolution be sent to the governor of the state of Montana and to each
