57. SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT’S AMBIGUOUS DEFINITION
Based on the premise of shortage ecology which underlies
the Endangered Species Act (ESA). The ESA is the
foundation of the land use element of Sustainable
Development (United Nations Sustainable Development,
Section I, chapters 7 & 8). It is important to note that
Sustainable Development has three components: global
land use, global education, and global population control
and reduction. Much of its genesis is rooted in the United
Nations Commission on Environment and Development
that was headed by Gro Harlem Brundtland (pictured here),
World Socialist Party Vice President. The ESA was passed to
prohibit private use of land.

“The term Sustainable Development encompasses three main principles; Equity, Environment and
Economy. Economy is the key word used to describe replacing free market principles with PPPs
(Public Private Partnerships). The Environment is used as catalyst for change and Equity describes the
social and environmental justice and the redistribution of wealth. Not equal justice. Social equity is
the driving factor to alter the function of law to impose social requirements replacing individual
rights.”
