LOOK NO FURTHER
A pledge of allegiance.

Look no further
From the beginning of time
From age to age
From generation to generation
Your heart has lunged for the one that will carry as You have purposed
Your
kingdom to come
And so I say to you Lord
Look no further, wait no longer.

For indeed mighty buildings, beautiful altars
You have not asked for
Excellent speeches and great orations
You don’t take pleasure in
A heart that loves You completely
Pulls out from You strength and desire
And so I say to You Lord
Look no further, wait no longer.

For a body You have created for Yourself
Removed it from the presence of the evil one
Fed it with truth, nurtured it with Your spirit
Watching it grow into Your image and likeness
Waiting for the fullness of Your time and season
And so I say to You Lord
