Refuge and strength
The Joy of the Lord
When life opens a page that lacks a meaning
When every circumstance drowns like the great sea
The joy of the Lord is my strength.
When I find myself in a somewhat pit
When I am walled around like water in a well
The joy of the Lord is my strength.
When my life lays on the alter a sacrifice soon to be
When tears fall like rain from a deep heart of troubles
The joy of the Lord is my strength.
For in all these things
All my heart will always seek
Is that which reveals His purpose
That His glory may be seen
For the joy of the Lord is my strength.
