ble, God for us is a Person we have experienced separately in
our journeys of life. And there is no better way to know a thing
or a person than by experience. This is our take on the matter
of God and Afrika’s spirituality and we stand by it. Period.

From the onset of life on earth and in this cradle of humanity
called Afrika, it has been clear that Afrika, as a people, were
providers of solutions to problems that emerged day to day,
even with regard to the ancient ones, who were maliciously la-
beled as primitive. Anyone can make our history look dark but
it does not change the truth of our past. The recent Covid-19
outbreak is really doing a lot of teaching to those who are willing
to see, hear and learn. It has subtly created a level playing field
for everyone, with no regard for nations, economic strength,
technology, health care systems, scientific expertise etc. Indeed
somehow, when the virus started moving out of China to other
countries, many believed that Afrika was going to suffer a lot
of deaths due to her lack of healthcare capacity and supposed
lack of hygiene. Yet, months down the line, it appears the
only place where the virus did not do much damage as regard-
ing death is this same Afrika. Both the Afrikans themselves
and foreign governments were surprised at what happened.

To add to the drama, Madagascar, an island nation in Afrika,
came up with a natural, organic, preventive and curative rem-
edy for the virus that it boldly talked about. Obviously, the
World Health Organization and other non-Afrikan scientists
did not waste time in condemning the cure that Madagascar
found. Their excuse was that the cure did not go through clin-
ical trials and protocols and so its genuineness could not be
ascertained. But if you ask us, we do not think that the issue of
a ‘genuine clinical test’ is what that rejection was about, rather
