it was more about the fact that the cure came from an Afrikan
nation. The question now is this, who determines what the
clinical protocol to follow for such cases is and why should
we trust the determined protocol, knowing that for ages Af-
rikans have allowed foreigners to determine how their lives
should go and that we can see how far that has brought us?
This is not surprising for any Afrikan who has been watching
the global space for a while. It’s a simple global mindset that
nothing good or of global value should come from Afrika, ex-
cept it is controlled by the white man. We would be sincerely
surprised if after this pandemic, and after the potential of Af-
rika’s solution to world issues is finally certified, that Afrikans
and their governments still go back to thinking that Afrika has
nothing good to offer the world. We would be surprised indeed.
We strongly believe in Afrika and Afrikans and the many great
things we are and which we could also become if we just took
a step back from the path of dependency that we have sub-
jected ourselves to over the years. Therefore, in the course
of this book, we will share a few solutions and tips which we
believe can help Afrika and Afrikans re-engineer their own
narrative of self-dependency, creative genius, innovative origi-
nality, beauty, art, science, technology, culture, mindset, edu-
cation and every other aspect of our societies that need help.
We sincerely hope that the few things we will talk about in this
book will provoke someone to think and rethink again the nar-
rative of A People Called Afrika and by that, take new stands
and make new approaches to helping Afrika take her true po-
sition, not just at the world’s table, but right at her own table.
