to say that Afrika was the epitome of darkness, savagery and
backwardness, Afrika was not and is not what they have said
she was or is. Only God has determined and can have the
right to speak to her identity, her nature and her purpose.
If one traces the thread of mankind’s origins from Creation
to the post-diluvian period when Nimrod gathered the peo-
ple in Shinar to build a tower, one will note that all of those
alive were Noahic descendants, with his wife and the wives
of his sons counted as his family, regardless of their biolog-
ical antecedents. All the people, therefore, had a common
history, a common language and were working towards the
worst kind of common unity with dedication and determi-
nation, one which eliminates God (this is the present-day
global trend). They also had a common spirituality, connect-
ed to God, the Creator. They all acknowledged Him, even
those who were trying to elevate themselves above Him.
This is important because, after their vain attempts to unseat
God, they were scattered, given different tongues and the land
was divided, but the common spirituality did not disappear.
It endured, it still does and if one is sincere, when one looks
at the cultural history of people in Afrika, one can identify
in the Afrikan cultural and spiritual practices, threads that
somehow link back to that original knowledge of God. It is
on record that the colonialists used the message of Christi-
anity as a weapon to subjugate the people of Afrika and to
convince them that they were savages who never had a con-
nection with God. That was the ultimate robbery and lie.
For before there was a physical book to refer to, Adam
walked with God and while there are those who want to be-
