14. AGENDA 21 IS ADVANCED DECEPTIVELY
AGENDA 21 is both consequential and unknown. Its proponents don’t want you informed about it. If
those who endorse it, including the mainstream media, believed it would be popular, it would have
been publicized as extensively as it has been implemented. Instead, journalists and commercial
beneficiaries consistently attack anyone expressing opposition as being paranoid of the United
Nations, even though the first paragraph in the U.N. AGENDA 21 web site actually makes this
breathtaking statement:
“Effective execution of AGENDA 21 will require a profound reorientation of all human society, unlike
anything the world has ever experienced a major shift in the priorities of both governments and
individuals and an unprecedented redeployment of human and financial resources. This shift will
demand that a concern for the environmental consequences of every human action be integrated into
individual and collective decision-making at every level.”

How could anyone be concerned about such a trivial plan?
Here’s a link to a typical example of a writer claiming that critics of AGENDA 21 are paranoid of a “UN
plan to encourage countries to consider the environmental impacts of human development.” Notice
how benignly he describes the plan!

Listed below are the shallow arguments that betray ignorance of AGENDA 21 which reporters,
journalists, bloggers, professors, politicians and planning board members are increasingly using to
ridicule those concerned about AGENDA 21.
Local planning is a local idea.
AGENDA 21 is a non-binding resolution not a treaty, carries no legal authority from which any
nation is bound to act. It has no teeth.
The U.N. has no enforcement capability.
There are no “Blue-Helmeted” U.N. troops at City Hall.
Planners are simply honest professionals trying to do their job, and all these protests are
wasting their valuable time.
The main concern of AGENDA 21 is that man is fouling the environment and using up
resources for future generations and we just need a sensible plan to preserve and protect the earth.
What is so bad about that?
There is no hidden agenda.
“I’ve read AGENDA 21 and I can find no threatening language that says it is a global plot. What
are you so afraid of?”

Two factors keep the threat of AGENDA 21 hidden. Its scope is so monumental that those not aware of
specific encroachments in their backyard tune it out as a ludicrous United Nations scheme. They need
to be made aware of “Smart Meters” which constitute a search of private homes without a warrant 24
hours a day:

On the other hand, those implementing it locally are either careful not to attribute their decisions to
AGENDA 21 or they are actually unaware how much their actions are advancing the AGENDA.
J Gary Lawrence, advisor to President Clinton’s Council on Sustainable Development strategically
advised proponents of AGENDA 21 to avoid making reference to the U.N. or to AGENDA 21, in order
to cloak their efforts to advance it, by using the terms “Comprehensive Planning”, “Growth
