As mentioned above, “In 1995, President Bill Clinton, in compliance with AGENDA 21, signed
Executive Order #12852 to create the President’s Council on Sustainable Development in order to
“harmonize” US environmental policy with U.N. directives as outlined in AGENDA 21. That executive
order directed all government agencies of the Federal Government [and NGOs] to work
with state and local community governments in a joint effort to “reinvent” government
using the guidelines outlined in AGENDA 21. As a result, with the assistance of planning groups
like ICLEI, Sustainable Development is now emerging as government policy in every town, county and
state in the nation.”

President George W. Bush refused to send a delegation to reaffirm AGENDA 21 at the 2002 U.N.
Earth Summit in Johannesburg, South Africa. One of the planks of the Republican platform renounces
AGENDA 21 saying that it is “being covertly pushed into local communities” as part of a “destructive
and insidious” U.N. design.

President Obama issued Executive Order 13575 on June 9, 2011, establishing the White House Rural
Council which stunningly granted 24 Federal Agencies authority over the “food, fiber and
energy” of 16% of the U.S. to be headed by the Secretary of Agriculture. A whole essay could be
written on the autocratic nature of this Executive Order.
