Surrender
if that is where you are supposed to be or what you are supposed to be
doing.
This is the principle I apply in all my relationships. I have learnt not to
force anything. If there’s no joy in the giving (or receiving), then there
will, most likely, be no flow. And I live my life like the wind, and I have
seen in Him there’s no strain. If something needs to happen, it will. He
will split seas if He has to… just ask Pharaoh and/or the Israelites.
Where He Builds His Credibility
One of my favourite characteristics about God is that He loves to back
Himself up. One of the most fascinating ways I learnt this was by
finding one of my favourite scriptures in the Bible thrice! 2 Samuel
22:31, Psalms 18:30 and Proverbs 30:5. As for God, His way is perfect;
The word of the LORD is proven (is correct; dependable; flawless;
pure; proves true; reliable; tried); He is a shield (refuge) to all who trust
in Him.
One thing I say nearly every day is something Maya Angelou is quoted
as saying, when someone shows you who they are the first time, believe
them. (sic) The truth will always come out, I have seen this repeatedly.
Truth is consistent. I believe Daddy likes to repeat Himself in order to
build His credibility so as to keep earning your trust. This is very
important to Him because then it becomes easier and easier for you to
believe the things that He continues to show and tell you that require
faith. Because there is no faith without trust, and that trust is built on
faith.
