trust
During this Covid-19 pandemic, the Holy Spirit keeps reminding me
that even in the Bible, God did “quarantine” those who chose to obey
just so He could reset the world again for His glory and honour. And
even then, everything did boil down to the family unit. So, it all goes
back to the real question, do you believe and trust in God? Do you
believe that even when you do not see it, He has good plans for you
and/or is therefore going to make it all work out for your good and HIS
GLORY ONLY AND ALWAYS?
Think about it from a marriage or relationship standpoint, trust is espe-
cially tested when you do not understand what is going on but you leave
room for your spouse to be, without asking questions. You trust that
they have got your back regardless and you, therefore, have nothing to
worry about - your heart is safe. And if they love you, then this is indeed
usually the case. However, if they do not then.
So how much more God? Will you allow God to be God in every area
of your life? Trust Him to have your heart’s best interests in His heart.
No questions asked. The kind of attitude that says, “I do not
understand, but Amen (let it be so)! Your will and Your Way be done
in this”.
The following is a poem I wrote to Him in 2011 as my response to the
way He separated me from the guy I had been negotiating with Him
over for about five years to allow me to be with:
