the things I need, but also that He is more than willing to love on me in
that way! I do not need to beg. I never beg. All I need to do is
communicate it to Him. And I love telling Him these things so that
when He honours my request, I know for sure it was Him and that just
deepens my trust in, love for and gratitude towards Him.

Obey…There’s No Other Way

Obedience is not self-focused or self-seeking. Remember that you are
also His hands and feet. When you feel/hear the prompting to give (of
your time or money or other things), please do so cheerfully. I promise,
every act of obedience draws you deeper and deeper in love with Him;
not to mention that it affirms that you hear Him, and that builds your
trust in Him even more, which in turn affirms your faith. These seeds
of obedience that you sow are what you will constantly reap because
someone else will also be His hands and feet in your life…and when
you need Him to come through for you urgently, you do not want that
person to be lax in their obedience! So give too, as you would like to
receive; and because you love God and God gave you Himself. This is
what kindness is all about.

The One Who Sees Around The Bend

It is usually so difficult for us to understand why God would allow for
pain to happen. Why would God allow for Corona to happen… why
would God allow my loved one to die?

I believe most of us are very limited in what we can see and grasp, and
while whatever we are going through usually seems like the worst
possible thing, sometimes we should stop and ask, “What if He was
saving us from something worse?”And usually, it has a lot to do with
eternity.
