Undoubtedly the mounting backlash against this document and against this movement led the U.N.
and ICLEI to relocate “Earth Summit AGENDA 21 United Nations Programme of Action” from links
that included references to the terms “un” and to “agenda21”.

ICLEI has obviously chosen to disassociate themselves with this U.N. document even though they are
one of the main U.N. local deployment NGO’s for AGENDA 21. So much of the content of this
document is being used against itself that the U.N. is now attempting to prevent access to it.
