As recorded in the Congressional Record (S13790), Friday, September 30, Senator Kay Bailey
Hutchison (R-TX) rose on the Senate floor with Coffman's maps (below) and GBA text excerpts to
             oppose the Treaty.”

“The United States was within one hour of ratifying a United Nations treaty that would have destroyed
constitutional property rights and divided America up into human occupation zones.”

“The Wildlands Project calls for the elimination or restriction of human activity on much of American
land. Examples of how the Wildlands Project is being implemented include road closings and the
adoption of U.N. Biosphere Reserves and World Heritage Sites. These areas are systematically being
closed to recreational use and have habitat "protection" impositions placed on them.” Wildland
territory is to become the matrix and human habitation is to be restricted to islands.

The Wildlands Project includes “rewilding” these lands with the native animal species. “Wolves,
cougars, lynx, wolverines, grizzly and black bears, jaguars, sea otters, and other top carnivores need to
be restored throughout North America in ecologically effective densities in their natural ranges where
suitable habitat remains or can be restored.”
