A leading previous global warming alarmist, the chemist
who formulated the Gaia Theory that Earth is a living
being, admitted on MSNBC in April 2012 that he had
overstated the case for man-made global warming and
conceded that "we don't know what the climate is doing."
This is the same person who asserted in 2006: “We are in a
fool's climate, accidentally kept cool by smoke, and before
this century is over billions of us will die and the few
breeding pairs of people that survive will be in the Arctic where the climate remains tolerable.”

“Despite the factual evidence, leftists under the adept leadership of President Obama are now
implementing environmental policies based on incorrect and historically inaccurate assumptions, e.g.
the destructive EPA CO2 rule (projected to cost trillions in lost GDP), the temporarily stalled “cap and
trade” program (also projected to cost trillions in lost GDP and millions in projected unemployment),
drilling “moratoriums” (hundreds of thousands of jobs placed at risk), and new regulations attempting
to ban hydraulic fracturing on federal land, despite the lack of scientific justification (potentially
derailing a new energy boom leading to energy independence in America).
Property rights have also been targeted as a source of pollution due to nonexistent “sprawl” as part of
a bill titled the “Livable Communities Act.” Notice something about all of these “solutions” to
nonexistent environmental problems? They all result in the destruction of economic opportunity and
prosperity and predictably lead to poverty, all on the basis of falsehood. Surely, those propagating
these “solutions” have seen the data. How then are these policies justified? Is it possible there is
another motive? Obama's czars have said as much.
Cass Sunstein proposed using the cover of climate change hysteria, now debunked as a massive fraud,
to provide justification for wealth redistribution to the Third World. These wealth transfers were
called “climate reparations” at the failed Copenhagen conference, and supposedly were needed to
repay “climate debt.” Such proposals constitute an ideological strain called “Watermelon Marxism,”
“green” on the outside and “red” on the inside. ”
