          we kept pushing it and eventually surrendered it back to God to make it
          happen, as and when He pleased.

          Before his first birthday, God impressed it in my heart that it was time.
          And guess what? All the people that needed to be present Zoomed in
          for the virtual ceremony. Remember, I mentioned that the timing was
          everything? Turns out, this day also happened to be The Passover (after
          which the Israelites were set free) in the Jewish calendar. It also was the
          day Jesus washed His disciples’ feet just before His death and resurrec-
          tion that would bring us freedom!


          This entire history brings us back to where we started… The RESET!

          The New Birthing


          On the 13th of June, 2020, Zara told me, “Mummy, I have a baby sis-
          ter.” I asked her, “You mean baby brother?” And she said firmly, “No,
          baby sister.” And I simply responded, “Okay.”


          Later that night I told my husband, “It appears we might need a preg-
          nancy test!” He was not amused! Like I said… He (especially) was SET!
          He was clear He did not want more children and up until this point, we
          had been exploring which family planning method to adopt. We had
          even discussed the permanent options and almost had the procedure
          done (it was being offered for free at the beginning of the year) but we
          restrained ourselves as our doctor had asked we consider such a move
          after about five years when we were older and were sure we had reached
          the family size we wanted.


          On the 17th of June at 10 pm, my husband had already conked out in
          the living room. I took one of the two test strips he had brought. My
          heart was pounding amid prayers that God make sure that it would only
